Nauling's Texas BBQ & Soul Food is veteran owned, established in 2014 by Rod Nauling. Rod was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Rod grew up cooking and catering with his family's food business from a small child. After graduating from Forest Brook High School, Rod joined and proudly served in the United States Army for 20 years. Five years into serving in the Army, Rod met his his wife, (his "road-dog" as he refers to her as), and the other half to NTBSF, Kim. Kim was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and attended Ballard High School and the two work directly with one another.
Rod retired from the U. S. Army in 2017 from Army base, Fort Riley located near Junction City, Kansas, A few years prior to retiring, Rod's passion for cooking increased and he decided to turn his passion into a catering business. Enhancing what he learned growing up from his family's business, into his own. Rod spent hours upon hours, perfecting and mastering his own style of cooking creating his own rub and sauces, with great success.
It is Rod and Kim's pleasure to make sure you have not only "good" food, but "great" food, with Texas hospitality and most of all...love as the main ingredient in all of their food.
